3 No-Tunnel Swan Cards

Good morning! It’s Ardyth here today with 3 ways to use the Tunnel Card Base dies on a flat card. I started by cutting the swan circle window die from a panel of white cardstock. Then I used a slightly larger plain circle die to cut around that – and it created a frame with the swan inside. I did the same with the hanging leaves die and the water/bullrushes die. Then I simply stacked them up and glued them together. I added some soft colour on the swan’s face with alcohol markers, but otherwise left everything simple and white. I blended some blue ink onto a square panel of white cardstock. I used a circular motion, keeping it heavier in the centre and lightening it as I moved toward the edges. I glued my framed swan to the ink-blended panel, and used a small piece of foam tape to pop up his wing for a little added dimension. For my next card, I focused on the negative piece that I got when I cut out the swan window.  What a great way to use up ‘scraps’! I cut the Congrats word from Zip Gift Tag dies and backed it onto a pink circle that had been spritzed with shimmer spray. Perfect clean and simple baby girl card! For my third card, I also used the negative piece, but I kicked up the drama with a black background to create a black swan this time! I added a rainbow background and banner (from Tunnel Card Base) and sentiment (from Pop-up Wiper) for a totally different look!
