Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to my i-crafter blog! I am so glad you stopped by today for a bit of inspiration. Today I am using the New Cherry Blossom Box dies to create this fun metallic trinket box. I am also using the Cherry Blossom Burst Dies to embellish the box.

I am using the hexagon base and the box side. I die cut 5 of the side pieces and 2 of the hexagon pieces from rose gold cardstock. I folded the score lines on each of the box sides using a ruler as a straight edge to guide the fold.

A – I added a piece 1/8″ of double sided tape to each piece of the the side tab
B – I peeled off the tape backing and ran a line of liquid glue on the tab. I attached it to one of the other sides
C and D – I completed the hexagon, by gluing the last to dies together. I glued one of the hexagons to the inside of the box.

E and F – I glued the second hexagon to the bottom of the box.
G and H – I pushed the top of the box together. You see it looks like a five pointed star before you close it locking the top petals together.

To embellish the box I die cut the three flower cluster from the Cherry Blossom Burst die set. I shaped the petals and glued them to the sides of the box. This is a fun little box to hide trinkets, treasures, or sweets in. What a great party favor this would make.
