Bloom Card

Flip Card, Flower

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am sharing another way to use the Flip Card Flower die. I will also show you how to create your own shadow from a word die. Below you will find the steps to create your own Bloom Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim Black Cardstock to 5 1/4” x 4” and adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Trim Patterned Paper to 5” x 3 3/4” and adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Diecut Flip Card Flower using Patterned Paper. This will be the big die with the flower insert die. Fold at the score line and adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – Diecut Flip Card Flower using Patterned Paper. The flower die. Rotate and diecut again to cut out the flower. See below photos. Adhere the flower on top of the flower on the card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 6 – Diecut Flip Card Flower Bloom sentiment using White Cardstock. To create a shadow I outlined the Bloom on Cardstock. Fussy cut the image or use a scan and cut machine to cut it. Adhere the diecut to the shadow and adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 7 – Diecut Flip Card Flower (leaves) using various shades of Green Cardstock. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

This card can be used for many occasions by changing the sentiment, colours and patterned paper. Below is a link to the product used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
