Autumn Rainbow – Thank You Card

Hello again my crafty friend, it’s Amanda from Pear Blossom Press. I’m back sharing a lovely autumn themed thank you card, featuring the new Geometric Wreath Die Set.

Last Saturday was World Card Making Day, and I took the opportunity to spend the day crafting with my youngest daughter, Kelly. We were live on YouTube while we each made a card. If you’d like to see how my card came together, and the Halloween card Kelly made, you can catch the replay here…

For my card, I used the new Geometric Wreath Die Set. It comes with tons of florals that I die cut from a rainbow of autumn colors, a wreath, and the sentiment THANK YOU that I cut from gold mirror stock, as well as a solid dodecagon (12-sided polygon, and yes, I had to look that up) that I used to cut the window in my card. Taking a page from my friend, Sabrina Leavell’s book, I was inspired to back my window with acetate. It gives the florals a neat under-glass look, and it gave me a place to float my sentiment. I love how this card turned out. And I love that I was able to create it from only one die set! Isn’t it pretty?
