Hello my crafty friends and welcome to today’s blog. I hope you have been having a happy holiday with your friends and family. Let’s give a toast friendship! I created this slimline card using the new Shadow Hello Friend dies, the Celebrate Wiper Insert dies and the Japanese Kumiko stencil.
Using the Japanese Kumiko stencil on white cardstock, I airbrushed red and green Liquid Colors to create the background. I die cut all of the elements to use in this card; the Shadow Friend is die cut from both gold and a cranberry cardstock and the bottle, glasses, and Sip Sip Hooray words. Each of the wine glasses are die cut from two pieces of vellum and glued together to provide a bit more stability. The wine bottle and the shadow word Friend are glued directly to the card front. Sip Sip Hooray and the wine glasses are raised using double sided adhesive foam tape. I used a clear adhesive foam tape for the back of the vellum wine glasses. The completed card front is mounted on a green slimline card base.
