Hello and welcome! So happy you dropped by! This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness and I am so happy to be here today to share another fun project featuring i-Crafter products! This month’s release is a lot of fun to play with, but these Heart Embellishment dies have my—-well heart!
I decided to make a trop of slimline cards all using 1 die cut panel! Super easy, and you are able to do it with any shape really!
First I die cut repeatedly the 2 smaller heart dies in the Heart Embellishments die set. I was careful not to cut too close to each other, but the overall effect was intended to look random.
Next, I took the negative piece and layered it over another white cardstock slimline panel and used it as a guide to glue back down all the hearts. Pretty much like putting a puzzle together! After all the hearts were glued in place, I carefully lifted back off the negative piece.
Next I put the negative piece over another panel, and used it as a stencil. I used blending brushes and Distress Oxide inks in Villainous Purple and Kitsch Flamingo. Such a fun combo! After I stenciled the entire die cut panel onto the white panel, I removed the negative again.
Last card was made by trimming down the now ink blended die cut negative and adhering it to a white cardstock panel.
Finishing touches on all 3 cards were made by adding the fabulous new die cut Shadow Happy Birthday and the Shadow Hello Friend dies! Both of these sets are perfect staples for anyone’s crafting stash! The shadow looks amazing and almost retro! LOVE! You are able to use the words with or without the shadow for even more versatility.
That wraps up my crafty post today. I hope I inspired you, and I will see you all again soon!
